The film is anticipated to experience considerable improvement in its weekend collections with the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday, particularly after collecting Rs 0.54 crore from early Saturday morning shows.

‘Stree 2‘ created a big impression in its debut week, Stree 2 Box Office Collection earning almost Rs. 291.65 crore. A total of Rs. 141.4 crore and Rs. 70.2 crore were contributed in the second and third weeks, respectively. The movie’s entire domestic gross to date, including Friday’s receipts, is Rs. 507.75 crore, out of a total gross of Rs. 606 crore.
When compared to the fourth Friday, the movie’s ticket sales increased significantly on the fourth Saturday. As of 11 PM IST, the horror-comedy has sold a whopping 127K tickets, far more than it did on Friday the 4th, when just 57K were sold.
The movie, which stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, has outperformed Kalki 2898 AD in terms of ticket sales. On the fourth Saturday, tickets were sold for 109K till 11 PM IST. Before the horror comedy crosses the finish line today, a few thousand more tickets are anticipated to be sold overall.
‘Stree 2’ has made over Rs. 725 crore worldwide, of which Rs. 119 crore has come from foreign markets.

Despite having superstars in them, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter and Akshay Kumar’s Kel Khel Mein both performed poor at the box office. After Shah Rukh Khan’s mega-hit “Jawan” (September 2023) and Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” (December 2023), Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s film has become the third fastest Hindi film to achieve the Rs 500-crore club.
The popularity of “Stree 2” has also served as a mirror for high-profile, high-budget movies like “Animal,” “Jawan,” and “Kalki 2898 AD.”
“Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, had a return on investment of 177%, while “Jawan” yielded a return of 113%. In contrast, ‘Stree 2’ revealed a profit of Rs 460 crore, which was seven times its initial budget, and a return on investment of 767 percent.
“Stree 2 Box Office Collection” is getting closer to the Rs 600-crore milestone as it gains traction in the home market. On the other side, the global box office receipts are getting close to Rs 700 crore.
‘Stree 2’ is undoubtedly the most highly profitable Hindi movie of 2024.
